Name: V.E.R.N (Virtual Existence Robotic Nodule) Rank: Sidekick 'comic- relief' robot Bio: V.E.R.N was introduced in season 2 as a plucky sidekick droid, programmed for comic relief. His internal software has been somewhat corrupted, after his nemesis R2D2 persuaded him to spend the night with a particularly mischievous Arcade Dance Machine. Since then he will unexpectedly burst into precisionally choreographed dance routines. Name: David Baldin Rank: Designer Bio: 'Suave and sophisticated' Dave was the first to be recruited. If this were the A-Team, he'd be the faceman. Always with pen in hand, David is the sketcher and sculpter of the group. His artistic eye knows no bounds, and he'll always be micro-correcting or aligning any graphic he sets eyes upon. Name: F. Lancer Rank: Variable Bio: He who has no name appears in a plume of smoke and vanishes after the deadline. Freelancer appears when needed, backing up the team when the odds are against us. Name: Ross Haynes Rank: Designer Bio: Ross is powered by pure monosaccharide, or 'sugar' as its more commonly known. He is a candy connosoisseur and will consume, process and share a schmorgers-board of sweets and biscuits at his desk each day. This powers his Bio-Tech virtual-teleportation device which connects his neural cortex into several CAD packages, Blogs, and Videos at once. Name: Paul Boucher Rank: Creative Director Bio: Paul leads the day to day creative projects - injecting his own brand of Geek knowledge fused with toy passion through all dbt's processes and output. Between managing the teams and imparting gems of 80's toy and film trivia, he'll be found sketching, illustrating or animating. Name: Mike Skidmore Rank: Strategist Bio: Mr Skidmore watches the big picture - he's the strategist, focussed on what's coming after the next big thing. Inbetween regaling the team of his exploits 'during the eighties' (most of which cannot be reprinted here) Mike also applies his marketing and strategy analysis to live projects and internal innovation plans. He also has a penchant for drawing 3 over-lapping circles and claiming that's a strategy. Name: Matt Gouveia Rank: Director of Operations Bio: As well as being a point of contact for clients, Matt also runs recce's into the field to spread the word about dbt. Back in the office he can be found operating multiple CAD packages, often running point on engineering matters, but most importantly, honing his table football skills. Some day, the time will come when Monseir Raphael (the Frenchman) will get his just desserts (long story). Name: Intern Rank: Variable Bio: The rookie. Interns come each year, and learn the ways of the toy designer. If you think you've got what it takes, contact us to see if you could wear the mask of the 'Intern'.

COMPANY BIO

Our team of big kids and eccentrics have been honed to action figure perfection over many years of Toy Designing

The Brass: Always at the end of the Hotline, Matt and Paul wait silently for the next frantic and desperate phone call, their chiseled heroic silhouettes casting dark shadows in the cave around them. Once activated, they scramble the team and will not sleep until their mission has been achieved.

The Team: Specialists in their field, the team have been assembled from the best (design) institutions around the globe. Chosen for their natural design abilities, each has become a master at their art, and an expert on the development of toys. They look good in plastic too.

The Operations: Assignments across Scandinavia, North America, the UK and Europe are where we have forged true allies in the heat of battle, never faltering from our mission of creating the best toys in the world and completing our collection of 1996 Star Wars Tazo’s.
